1. Applicant
a. Malaysian and;
b. Permanent academic staff or;
c. Contract academic staff with permanent research member.
d. Foreign academic staff must have a permanent Malaysian research member.
e. Each applicant is allowed to send one (1) application only.
f. New application for those who have been approved with PRGS from previous phases will only be considered when their project is completed.
g. Academic staff that is on study leave is not allowed to apply for PRGS.
h. Priority will be given to revenue of the project under the FRGS whether completed or ongoing.
2. Duration – 2 years
3. Budget – Maximum budget is RM 500,000
4. PRGS cannot be used for the following items:
- Produce a business plan
- Market Studies/Survey
- Application and Registration of Intellectual Property
- The exhibition and promotion of products
- Conference presentation
